The Generac 7103 Breather Heater Kit is engineered to protect your air-cooled standby generator in extreme cold weather. Compatible with Generac 9kW to 22kW air-cooled units manufactured from 2013 to present, this heater helps prevent breather tube icing and ensures reliable startup during freezing temperatures.
Ideal for areas that regularly dip below 0°F (-18°C), the breather heater activates at low ambient temperatures to keep internal components warm. Operating at 120 volts, 13 amps, and 16 watts, it’s an essential part of a cold weather kit for Generac generators. For optimal performance, always use 5W-30 synthetic oil when installing this unit.
- The breather warmer is only for use in extreme cold weather applications
- Only compatible on Generac units manufactured 2013 to present
- Recommended for locations that regularly go below 0 degrees Fahrenheit
- When installing any cold weather item, it is required that the oil be replaced with 5W-30 synthetic
