The Generac 7101 Battery Heater Kit ensures your air-cooled generator starts reliably in cold climates. Designed for Generac 9kW to 22kW air-cooled units made from 2008 onward, this 40-watt, 240V pad warmer rests directly under the battery to maintain optimal battery temperature during freezing conditions.

Recommended for use in environments where temperatures regularly drop below 32°F (0°C), the heater automatically activates at 40°F and shuts off at 55°F, providing efficient and consistent heat. Note: This kit is not required for AGM-style batteries. As with all cold weather accessories, use 5W-30 synthetic oil when installing.
